The Inner Canvas Circle
A monthly women’s gathering to safely explore emotional landscapes through art. (Dates below)
I’m very excited to offer this women’s creative circle (for those identifying as female). We will meet on the first Tuesday of every month. There are 12 spaces available/month. Please sign up to reserve your spot(s) below. This group will focus on a different topic each month. We will move/dance together, engage in deep conversation on the month’s topic, and use various art prompts and exercises to create a dialogue about what has come up for each person during the group discussion. Various art materials will be used, but no art experience is required to participate. Group gatherings are beneficial in so many ways: from building community, to benefiting from another’s process, and learning more about your own inner world in a supportive container. How to prepare: I invite you to contemplate the topic and participate in the discussion during the circle. This will help inform the evening's creative activity.
Small Sacred Spaces
The Art of Altar Building
Come Join Us in this two-part workshop where you will imagine and create your own unique alter. Once you have it down, you can make more for yourself and as gifts for others. All materials are provided for the altar's structure and decoration. If you have specific things you want to use or make an altar for, feel free to bring them, and you can measure and make a space just for them. This is not a cookie-cutter class(I don’t ever encourage that!). There will be a basic format, but Individual creativity and expression is encouraged and supported in whatever way needed. Time and materials will be the only limitations, so maybe think around 1 ft in height.
This 5-hour class will take place over 2 weeks. Please make sure you are available for both weeks when you register.
$100/ 5 HRS instruction and materials included

WEEK 1: Tuesday, April 21st, 6-8:30 pm
Building A Home For Your Special Objects
A 2 1/2-hour time frame to construct the sacred container. This first stage needs to be finished by the end of the evening so it has plenty of time to dry before our next class.
WEEK 2: Tuesday, April 28Th 6-8:30 pm
Week Two: Making Your Alter Uniquely Yours
This second 2 1/2-hour class will focus on sanding, painting, and adding collage, nature, or other elements to your piece.

What to know before you arrive:
—Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
—If you have specific items you want to make space for in your altar, please bring them.
—Feel free to bring any items/materials of significance you feel strongly about using. I have many wonderful materials available as well.
